IFAC’s communications program works to combat negative perceptions around food additives by promoting the benefits of food ingredients and educating stakeholders on the sources and uses of food ingredients/additives. The Communications & Outreach Committee:
- Provides input on the development and expansion of IFAC’s consumer-facing website, including contributing content and promoting to stakeholders.
- Promotes IFAC resources, including the GMP Guide, GRAS Best Practices Guide, and NDIN Industry Guide, through webinars, word of mouth, and other strategies.
- Utilizes social media platforms, including LinkedIn and Twitter, to engage with key audiences.
- Works to maintain and expand IFAC membership through new services and broader representation at Codex, trade shows, and through the website.
