Communications & Outreach Committee

IFAC’s communications program works to combat negative perceptions around food additives by promoting the benefits of food ingredients and educating stakeholders on the sources and uses of food ingredients/additives. The Communications & Outreach Committee:

  • Provides input on the development and expansion of IFAC’s consumer-facing website, including contributing content and promoting to stakeholders.
  • Promotes IFAC resources, including the GMP Guide, GRAS Best Practices Guide, and NDIN Industry Guide, through webinars, word of mouth, and other strategies.
  • Utilizes social media platforms, including LinkedIn and Twitter, to engage with key audiences.
  • Works to maintain and expand IFAC membership through new services and broader representation at Codex, trade shows, and through the website.
