Robert Rankin, Executive Director
Robert has worked with IFAC for over 11 years, during which time he has led IFAC’s scientific, regulatory, and communications strategies and represented food additive industry interests before scientific and regulatory authorities, industry stakeholders, and consumers. Through IFAC, Robert works closely with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, and other regulatory agencies to ensure an efficient and effective food additive regulatory framework. Robert also represents IFAC before the Codex Alimentarius, particularly the Committee on Food Additives, to support market access and the expansion of food additive provisions globally.

Berit Dockter MPP, RD, LD, Scientific & Regulatory Affairs Manager
Berit Dockter MPP, RD, LD has worked with IFAC since 2018 during which time she has submitted U.S. and global regulatory comments to various countries on topics related to food safety, use-by date labeling, and bioengineered (BE) labeling requirements. Her work on IFAC also includes creating a position on allergen labeling for manufacturers to understand the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) labeling requirements, overseeing publication of research from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey related to phosphate intake, and working with the FDA on topics of interest to IFAC members such as food cultures and probiotic issues.

She is a registered dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration, and licensed dietitian by the District of Columbia.

Delia Murphy, General Manager
Delia Murphy joined the IFAC team in 2021 and brings extensive experience leading programs and overall ‎executive management for associations. Delia works closely with the IFAC Board of Directors and Executive ‎Committee and works to deliver on Board-level initiatives and strategic planning objectives, develop membership ‎and member services programs, enhance association relationships, and organize IFAC’s events.

Justine Coffey, JD, LLM, Director of Regulatory Affairs
Justine joined the IFAC team in 2022 and brings extensive experience engaging with federal regulatory agencies, ensuring relevant policies and positions are brought to the attention of appropriate government officials.  Justine works with the IFAC Regulatory Committee, addressing all regulatory-focused topics and engaging with U.S. federal regulatory agencies, including the Food and Drug Administration and the Department of Agriculture. She also works with the IFAC Standards Committee, engaging in IFAC’s Codex Alimentarius activities.
