Local Attractions and Weather

If you are looking for a day away from the beach, take a short ride to SeaWorld San Diego, the world-famous San Diego Zoo, LEGOLAND California, or the Cabrillo National Monument. For dining enthusiasts, you won’t have trouble finding the freshest seafood from right off the coast, including fish tacos – a staple of San Diego. For shoppers, there’s no need to worry. Pacific Beach is home to several boutique beachwear shops while the famed upscale Fashion Valley Mall is only a few miles inland. Welcome to San Diego!

Typical weather in San Diego in January ranges around 65° during the day and 50° in the evening. A jacket or sweater should be comfortable, especially in the evening.
